initially, i didn't really warm up to her. she was way too flamboyant for my liking. i also thought that her vogue nippon editorials lacked variety and were mere replicas of her style (big hair, mammoth baubles, tanned skin, exaggerated silhouettes). but i have come to appreciate her presence in the fashion industry. i like her radiant positivity, her commitment to maintaining a toned physique through exercise (did you see her arms and legs?), and obviously her willingness to push fashion boundaries. who can pull off neon colors better than her?!
