Purple Magazine Fall/Winter 2008
it might be just me but... nothing of the current really excites me these days...
retrieving to the past is what i'm doing and it's been much fun since there are so many noteworthy editorials that i wanted to archive in my blog.
so here's another taste of year 2008 for you.

Tom Ford Fall 2012 Make-Up Collection
i might be iffy on tom ford's current work for his own label 'tom ford,' i do not doubt the man's talent for creating ads.

Lips Photography
i love close-up beauty shots like the lips and eyes.
with lips photography i really like the usual style of uber glossiness and the drenched-excess feel of it.
the first four shots are by kutlu and the last two are by christel bangsgaard.

Summer Makeup
love these beautiful, clean beauty shots.
i don't experiment much with color. this is especially true when it comes to clothes and makeup. especially with makeup, i like natural looks with a hint of blush and a dab of gloss on the lips. but when it's summer, it's all about bright hues and i think these beauty shots provide a chic color solution for wearing bright makeup without looking like you just got a face paint. the key here is to focus on one part of your face for accent.
