i really liked this editorial with all the beautiful haute couture creations.
as much as i enjoy seeing the current fashion designs, i really love the past designs of the 90s and early 2000s.
to me, for some reasons, designs of this particular period triumphs that of the present.

leave it to gisele for dynamic shots.
raquel zimmermann and coco rocha are also models who are known for their active shots. but with coco, she always has the same face and her poses are actually very limited. i like raquel but i like gisele's femininity more.

The Artist and His Model / Elle US January 2003
gisele bundchen and azzedine alaia meet. i never knew that alaia was so respected among fashion designers. i guess i never really paid attention to his clothes. but my lack of knowledge is partly due to a falling out between alaia and anna wintour! never knew this either but apparently the two don't like each other and wintour never, ever puts his clothes in vogue... talk about fashion drama..

Neon Glow
a dash or full-on outfit of neon can spice up your look. i personally associate neon with summer since the colors really pop next to tanned skin. with neon, however, there's slight danger of looking tacky or like you've just time-traveled from the 80s. but with christopher kane doing an entire show with neons and miu miu sending models down the runway in electric yellows and greens, neon can be très chic.
