this was the last d&g collection!
i wasn't aware of this but domenico and stefano are planning on integrating d&g into dolce and gabbana, their main signature line. a good choice, i believe.

Michael Kors Spring RTW 2012

michael kors said that his spring 2012 collection was inspired by africa. quiet obviously you see the african influences in the colors, prints, and material (crocodile bag, animal skin trenches). very michale kors collection!

High Definition / Vogue US March 2008

i remember seeing this editorial back in 2008 and absolutely loving it. i even taped these on my dorm room wall to liven it up a little. to me, designers seemed to have a good run for spring 2008. to name a few...marc jacobs had come up with cool heel-less pumps to match the equally interestingly-cut dresses, marni was excelling in its unique color schemes and accessories, and dries van noten had beautiful floral print dresses mixed in fresh hues. this period was also the time when i saw lots of craig mcdean's works and really liked them.

Missoni Resort 2012

as we are just getting acquainted with summer 2011, the fashion world has fast moved on.
right on fashion-time, designers have showcased their resort 2012 looks. and although i have yet to create a definitive summer 2011 plan, the 2012 resort wear of yves saint laurent, michael kors, and missoni got me wishfully thinking of summer 2012.

to kick of resort 2012 looks, let's start with the wonderfully colorful, breezy, and feminine designs from missoni. prepare for the color, color, color!

Marni Fall 2011

i love that marni consistently showcases great, unified looks evry season.
also, i think it is one of the few brands that creates realistically unique pieces for women at every age.

Emilio Pucci / Spring-Summer 2011

i always associate emilio pucci with summer. with its exotic prints and skin-tight / skin-revealing dresses, pucci provides options that suite all kinds of occasions during the sunny times. winter collections, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be as strong. case in point is pucci's fall 2011 collection which i didn't love as much as i do for its spring-summer 2011 collection. who wouldn't want to slip into those flowy dresses and walk the coast of french riveria or stroll about in mykonos ?
