Neon Glow

a dash or full-on outfit of neon can spice up your look. i personally associate neon with summer since the colors really pop next to tanned skin. with neon, however, there's slight danger of looking tacky or like you've just time-traveled from the 80s. but with christopher kane doing an entire show with neons and miu miu sending models down the runway in electric yellows and greens, neon can be très chic.

i always liked clutches. for me, they have a whole new chic, cool, elegant, and power element that shoulder bags or totes don't possess.  if a picture is worth a thousand words then i say a nice clutch is worth a thousand accessories to an outfit.

one of my favorite models.
natalia and her husband, justin portman, were the last people i thought would separate. they looked so good and happy together. but, alas, it seems like number 10 is a jinx in the entertainment industry. if perfectly happy-looking celebrities break up, it's safe to assume that they spent 9-10 years together (off the top of my head examples include pitt & aniston, arquette & cox, cruise & kidman).

Style: Kate Moss & Glastonbury Festival

few years have passed since kate moss wore the infamous muddied up hunter boots to the glastonbury festival and everyone, everywhere instantly wanted to own a pair of the wellies. as always, the festival has opened for this year and glastonbury wouldn't be glastonbury without the fashionable moss strutting down the muddy road. needless to say she looks great. below are some of her past looks at the festival.

Alexander McQueen Resort 2012

i was impressed with mcqueen's resort collection because it had more of an intensity of a couture show than a ready-to-wear one. especially with the last few intricate evening dresses, one would feel more comfortable and safe wearing them at a black-tie event than dragging the delicate trains through the alleys of italian seaside resorts.

'romantic utility' was the word that inspired sarah burton for this collection and you saw the references in the nipped-waist jackets with kick pleat skirts and cotton drill pieced together in different military greens. besides the clothes, the accessories were great as well.

forget resort-wear. this could be my wedding dress..!
