Reed Krakoff Pre-Fall 2012

the snake skin boots and pumps are awesomely luxurious.
the whole styling and design of it all harks to celine but maybe krakoff has a bit more femininity to his clothes. overall, these are great collection for a working/power women.

Marni Pre-Fall 2011

like ariel sold her voice to ursula for a pair of legs, i would sell whatever i have that consuelo castiglioni (founder and designer of marni) wants from me for her keen eyes for color.
marni is a brand where unique/avan-garde style coexists with reality/wearability. my mom wears a lot from marni which makes me like the brand even more. i try on her clothes from time to time but, as my mom says, i have yet to age a bit more before i can pull off the "marni look."

sleek and accessible, marni continues its time-honored style of piling up patterns, colors, and layers (never clashing or appearing heavy).

Versace Pre-Fall 2011

yes, my belated pre-fall 2011 posts continue... (see reason here)

interesting and respect-worthy combination of prints, colors, and fabrics.
i never thought some of the colors present in the collection could come together as a coherent outfit. but it does.

this, for me, was quiet prada-esque

red mink edges for your glistening silver bag... right on versace.

Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2011

i know that posting a 2011 pre-fall collection is very, very late in fashion time. although i have always paid attention to fashion, i somehow completely missed out on pre-fall collections! i don't know how this happened but thank god i decided to browse it on style.com because i would have been unaware of an absolutely amazing collection by alexander mcqueen. (so elegant, chic, and crisp crisp crisp!) mcqueen collections always go beyond people's expectations but this 2011 pre-fall lineup inspired by nautical and military theme is all the things that i personally love.

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS LOOK... the structured dress is a thing of beauty and art.

kate middleton wore this exact outfit recently. i'll post her pictures soon :)

i'm not a big fan of this color but the structure of the dress is gorgeous. i can see it in white and have it be a wedding dress.
