The Row Resort 2012
every year, we see "the resort collection" in between spring and fall runways. maybe because it's wedged between two major shows for design houses, the resort wear sometimes looks like a collection of a designer's second-thoughts. although, i think 2012 resort was generally cohesive and good! (agree? disagree?)
the row resort 2012 was fine albeit there being nothing new or exciting. i like its fall 2011 collection more but the resort wear had some clean, basic outfits that could easily and conveniently be incorporated into one's summer closet.

Style: Ashley Olsen & Casual Wear
i'm not a fan of olsens' "homeless-chic" style. i think ashley, compared to mary-kate, is more of the refined one. below are some of my favorite casual/pants outfits from her. realistic, comfortable, and stylish: these qualities are the best formula for a casual-chic look.
